After recycling, it only refurbished and used more than 15 million, and its utilization rate was 11%. The recycling rate of used tires in the United States and other developed countries was over 70%.



Recently, the “Key Technology and Demonstration of Waste Tire Remanufacturing” jointly undertaken by Chongqing Chaoke Industrial Development Co., Ltd. and Chongqing University was approved by experts. At the same time, the annual production capacity of 500,000 scrap tire remanufacturing production lines has also officially put into operation, marking a major breakthrough in China's scrap tire remanufacturing technology.

Professor Li Zhaoqing from the School of Environment and Resources at Chongqing University introduced that there are two kinds of tire retreading technologies, namely the traditional model method and the pre-cured tread method. The latter is an international popular technology developed in the past 30 years. Its main technical feature is high temperature (150 °C), high pressure (4.5Mpa), pre-vulcanized the tread, and then use low-temperature adhesive to bond the pre-vulcanized tread rubber to the carcass, and then put the tire into the tire vulcanizing tank and adopt low pressure and low temperature. Vulcanization setting. The traditional model method is called “cold turning”, and the pre-cured tread method is called “hot turning”, which can several times extend the service life of the tire. However, ultra-low temperature technology and key equipment have been monopolized by foreign companies for a long time, which has restricted the development of the domestic tire remanufacturing industry.

Chongqing Chaoke Industrial Development Co., Ltd. cooperated with Chongqing University to conduct cooperation in production, learning and research. It inspected the relevant technology and equipment of developed countries in Europe and North America. It applied ultra-low temperature tire adhesion mechanism, ultra-high pressure compound wear-resistant rubber wear mechanism and application of new materials. A more in-depth study. The research group carried out technological innovations and focused on researching ultra-low temperature tire adhesive formulations, ultra-high pressure compound wear resistant tread rubber formulations, pre-cured tread ultra-high pressure fine vulcanization processes, and tread extrusion compound extrusion molding processes. Development status of retreaded tyres in China

The ratio of new tires to retreaded tires was about 28:1, which is far below the world level and even lower than the level of developed countries, such as the United States in 1998. There were 28.104 million retreaded tires with an output value of 2.266 billion U.S. dollars.

China's retreading enterprises are more typical "small and full" workshop-type enterprises. The scale of the company is small, and there are too many places in some places. For example, there are nearly 20 in Beijing. In 1994, according to incomplete statistics, there were 434 re-launching enterprises in China, most of which were small factories with annual turnover of 5,000 or less. According to the original Tire Refurbishment Production Index issued by the Ministry of Domestic Trade in 1996, the expected index is 3.5 million pieces/year, and each factory produces an average of 8,000 pieces/year. It is lower than the average foreign factory's annual turnover of 25,000.
