The “Xichai heavy-duty diesel engine block and cylinder head flexible production line demonstration project†project was organized by Xichai, and it was jointly with Dalian Huagen Machinery Co., Ltd., Dalian Xinyu Science and Technology Development Center Co., Ltd., Tongji University and Dalian University of Technology to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The application was approved in April 2013 as a major national special project for high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment (abbreviated as “04 specialâ€). This project focuses on the demonstration application of heavy-duty diesel engine block and cylinder head flexible processing production lines. It focuses on the research of heavy-duty diesel engine block and cylinder head machining technology, production line design technology and manufacturing technology, precision stability and reliability technology of the machine tool, Digital modeling and simulation of production lines, tool application and management technologies, and production line management and control technologies have enabled the practical application and demonstration of special numerical control research results in heavy-duty diesel engine block and cylinder head flexible processing production lines. Since the project was launched, it has formed 22 technical research reports, 41 papers, 7 invention patents, 2 software copyrights and 5 enterprise standards.
Through this demonstration project, Xichai has mastered the processing technology and key manufacturing technology of heavy-duty diesel engine block and cylinder head, improved the application rate, reliability and accuracy of domestic equipment, and enhanced the autonomous manufacturing capability of China's automobile industry. .
