Shenlong's first 1.2THP turbocharged direct injection engine off the assembly line


On October 17, the company's first 1.2THP turbocharged direct injection engine went offline at the Shenyang plant. This indicates that Shenlong already has the production capacity of 1.2THP engine.

1.2THP is an important part of the “D-action strategy” of Shenlong's powertrain and new energy development strategy. According to the “E-strategy” plan released by Shenlong in August 2012, from 2012 to 2014, Shenlong will launch 6 new engines that are highly efficient, economical, environmentally friendly, and technologically advanced, including 1.6LCVVT engine and 1.8LCVVT engine. And 1.8THP turbocharged direct injection engine, 1.6THP turbocharged direct injection engine, 1.2THP turbocharged direct injection engine and other new powertrain series; and match the corresponding new gearbox, new energy products launched simultaneously.

With the full speed advancement of the "E-movement strategy", since last October, the pace of the replacement of Shenlong's powertrain has been accelerated, with three new engines: 1.6LCVVT technology engine, 1.6THP turbocharged direct-injection engine, and 1.8LCVVT technology. The engine has been matched with its dual-brand Dongfeng Citroen C4L, New Sega, Dongfeng Peugeot 3008, 408, 308 and other models launched. By the end of 2014, Shenlong's powertrain will be fully upgraded. By 2015, the carbon emissions of all products of Shenlong will be reduced by an average of over 20%.

The new generation 1.2THP three-cylinder turbocharged direct injection engine of Shenlong Company is a small-displacement, high-performance new product developed under the background of the continuous acceleration of the globalization of energy saving and emission reduction. It is the integration and innovation of the most advanced technology of PSA Group. . Including adaptive STT (stop/start) system, plug-in hybrid power system and other new energy technologies, compared with the current four-cylinder engine with the same power, the weight is reduced by 25%, the fuel consumption is reduced by 25%; similar to the market, three-cylinder turbocharger Compared with the direct injection engine, the fuel consumption is reduced by 8%; the maximum power is 100kW, the maximum torque is 230Nm, and the power performance is equivalent to the 2.0L traditional engine on the current market, and it can be equipped with a variety of models from Shenlong.

Shenlong Motor Co., Ltd. produces a production line of 1.2THP series engines - a new EB assembly line at Xiangyang Plant. At present, 90% of the machining equipment has been installed and commissioned, and the capacity value is being made. The assembly line has been assembled and has production conditions. It is planned to be fully operational in 2014.
