Recently, Scania, an internationally renowned car manufacturer, signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Mining of Iraq to announce that it will cooperate with Scania’s local Iraqi companies to produce 4,000 heavy trucks in the next five years.
It is reported that these trucks will be assembled at the Iraqi government’s large industrial center in Skanda in southern Baghdad. Scania will also provide Iraq with industrial technology, tools, and training support during the agreement period. The local provides objective job opportunities.
