In recent years, network information security has attracted much attention. High-reliability FPGA technology has been highly praised by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and is the latest generation of preferred technology for reactor protection systems. The NuPAC ​​platform based on FPGA technology was jointly developed by China National Nuclear Power Automation Instrumentation Co., Ltd. and the United States Martin Corporation. For the first time, FPGA technology successfully applied in aerospace and other fields was innovatively applied in commercial nuclear power plants. This technology does not depend on software running, and it realizes software hardwareization. It can effectively resist network attacks. The system architecture adopts unique modular and universal design. Its intrinsic safety features provide the highest security barrier for nuclear power plant operation.


China National Nuclear Power owns the complete intellectual property rights of NuPAC ​​platform, independently develops the source code, and can continuously improve and develop it without restriction; under the framework agreement that meets the Sino-U.S. government agreement on the peaceful use of nuclear energy, the state nuclear autonomy can be provided to the global market. The NuPAC ​​platform can be used in all reactor-type nuclear power units, various types of civil nuclear power plants, and can also be used in high-end industrial control areas such as heavy-duty gas turbines, rail transportation, and other high security and reliability requirements. At the meeting, China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the National Nuclear Power Demonstration Power Plant Co., Ltd., Shandong Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. and other users.
