The data shows that the domestic dedicated school bus market has increased from 56 in 2008 to 702 in 2009, and in 2011 it has grown to 6,315, a significant increase. For the school bus market, each bus company has set up a special school bus division to carry out key marketing for this market.

Regarding whether the school bus market will repeat the mistakes of the bus market, Yang Guojun, “The arrears of school bus purchase expenses also exist, but there is no serious bus industry, because the government procurement method can solve the problem of once the car purchase funds are in place.”

In fact, the special procurement and payment methods of the bus industry have plagued many domestic bus companies. The batch bus orders have made the bidding of the companies fierce, but the recovery of the car is a serious problem in the industry and even seriously affects the company's profits.

Wang Wenbing, deputy general manager of Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. also agrees with this view. He believes that the school bus operation adopts a market operation mode similar to the welfare nature, and the number does not have a huge number of buses, so it will not repeat the mistakes of the bus industry.

In fact, since the mode of special operation of the school bus operation department under the bus group company is still relatively common in various places, there are still many similarities between the purchase and operation of school buses and buses. At present, the trend of meager profit management has also spread from the bus manufacturers to the upstream and downstream parts manufacturers.
