For this reason, the search for new refrigerants has attracted worldwide attention. Among the new refrigerants currently studied, water is an ideal one because it has the following advantages: 1) pure natural substances, no harm to the environment; 2) cheapest and easy to obtain except air; 3) It is both a refrigerant and a brine carrier, which can greatly reduce the complexity of the air conditioning system; 4) High coefficient of performance COP.
Water vapor compressors have a long history. The first recorded water vapor centrifugal compressor was built by Leblanc in 1912. In 1934, Belmont applied a water vapor centrifugal compressor to an air conditioning system. But later, with the discovery and application of Freon refrigerants, the volume and weight of vapor compression refrigerators have been greatly reduced, and water has gradually been forgotten as a refrigerant. However, with the waning date of most Freon refrigerants approaching, water vapor compression chillers have rekindled the interest of researchers in recent years. In 2000, water was used as a refrigerant and water vapor compressor technology. A detailed review study focused on various types of water vapor compressors. The theoretical research and analysis of the water vapor compression refrigerator (WVCR): assuming the same performance of other components, under different evaporation temperatures (7, 10) and condensation temperature (3540), the water vapor compressor is used separately The coefficient of performance (COP) of the two chillers for the isentropic compression and multivariable compression processes was calculated.
