At present, the demand for MMA in the Asian region, especially in Asia dominated by the world, is growing strongly, and the growth of PMMA usage is particularly rapid. China's MMA consumption is mainly concentrated in East China, South China, and North China. The overseas investment sites are all concentrated in the MMA downstream industries. The sites are mainly distributed in East China and South China, which reduces logistics costs. At present, the development of domestic MMA product application areas is still far from enough. There are only a few bulk products, and the technology is low in content, low in added value, and narrow in application. Other downstream products are still in their infancy, with low output and limited application scope. China still needs to import a large number of MMA downstream products every year.
