As of September 10, 21 sets of tower-mounted pumping units independently developed by Jidong Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd. were installed on the site, with stable and reliable performance, good user evaluation, and 2 national utility model patents.
The tower-type pumping unit is a new energy-saving pumping unit. It is mainly developed to meet the needs of the offshore and artificial island oil production process in Jidong Oilfield. It was established in the second half of 2008 and the prototype was completed at the end of 2009. In January 2010, it passed the assessment of the oil field expert group, and it was put into operation on the spot in March and tested in the product promotion in May.
It is understood that Jidong Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd. has formed a capacity for mass production of tower-type pumping units. This year, it plans to complete the installation and use of 50 units on site.
