A few days ago, the China National Production Vehicle Performance Competition (CCPC) Yancheng Dafeng Station was successfully concluded.
At the closing ceremony, the organizer presented two tire awards.
Among them, Continental Horse tires received the “Safest Tire Award†in the two categories of CCPC SUV Group 215/55 R18 tires and 205/55 R16 tires.
Michelin tires and Nexans tires were awarded the “Greenest Tire Award†for the corresponding specification group.
Before the competition, invited by the CCPC Organizing Committee, the Car Green Tire Certification (C-GTRA) Working Group came to Yancheng to assess the original tires of the participating vehicles.
The C-GTRA working group selects the most suitable 215/55R18 and 205/55R16 tires in the participating vehicles, and divides the test tires into two groups according to the specifications, and evaluates both safety and environmental protection.
It is understood that the test method used in this evaluation is completely based on the corresponding method in the "Car Green Tire Evaluation Regulations". The test items are wet grip performance test and rolling noise test.
