Wanan Technology invests 200 million yuan to build a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xi'an

On December 7, Zhejiang Goodnight Technology announced that the company will invest 200 million yuan to build Shaanxi Wanan Automotive Components Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary in Xi'an. The new company will produce automotive brake system products.

Since its establishment, Zhejiang Wanan Technology Co., Ltd. has been devoted to research and development, production and sales of automotive brake systems leading products: automotive electronic control systems, automotive brake systems, clutch control systems, automotive engineering plastics and so on. The company mainly provides support for major domestic commercial vehicle manufacturers such as FAW Group, Beiqi Foton, Jianghuai and other major domestic passenger vehicle manufacturers such as BYD, Chery, Geely, etc. It has established a complete procurement and supporting network and strives to build a world brand of auto parts.

According to reports, Wanan Technology Shaanxi Wanan Automotive Components Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 200 million yuan including construction investment of 162 million yuan. The project construction period will be 4 years. The annual sales income will reach 500 million yuan, and the total annual cost will be 451 million yuan. The total annual profit is 47.06 million yuan and the investment return rate is 24.08%.

The Oil Control Valve (OCV) is a a critical part used in every engine that is fitted with variable valve technology (VVT). A single control valve will regulate the supply of oil to a designated VVT hub, to advance or retard the timing by altering the camshaft angle position. Controlled by the ECU, the OCV receives electrical signals, instructing it to adjust the oil flow as required, in accordance to current driving conditions.
