Passive infrared camera technology uses any material that has infrared radiation above absolute zero (-273 ° C). The higher the temperature of an object, the more infrared radiation it emits. The most typical infrared camera made using this principle is an infrared camera. However, this special infrared camera is expensive to manufacture and is therefore limited to military or special occasions. Active infrared camera technology uses infrared lights to radiate "illumination" (mainly infrared light), and uses infrared cameras to sense the infrared light reflected from surrounding scenery and the environment to achieve night vision monitoring.
