October 2016 China Titanium Dioxide exports decreased by 13.45%
According to statistics, China's titanium dioxide import volume was 13028.908 tons in October 2016, an increase of 2.99% year-on-year, a decrease of 11.83% compared to the previous period, and the average import price was approximately US$2,778.33/ton. The top three import regions were Taiwan, the United States, and Germany; From January to November, total imports of titanium dioxide were 149,447.17 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.17%. In October 2016, China exported 54,417,244 tonnes of titanium dioxide, which represented a year-on-year increase of 19.99% and a decrease of 13.45% compared with the previous period. The average export price was about 1831.45 U.S. dollars per ton, of which the top three export countries were India, the United States, and South Korea; the top three export regions were Sichuan, Shandong and Henan. From January to October 2016, the total export of titanium dioxide was 595,220.549 tons, an increase of 34.34% year-on-year.
