Mazda sold 18,634 vehicles in China in May 2011

From the sales figures of the two sales networks in May, FAW-Mazda achieved a total sales of 11,508 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 4%. Changan Mazda sold a total of 7,126 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 3%. In May, a total of 18,634 vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 1%, which set a new record for sales in China over the past five months; cumulative sales for January-May totaled 86,319 units, down 0.4% year-on-year. Mazda plans to expand the total number of 4S stores of FAW Mazda and Changan Mazda to more than 370 by the end of this year. By the end of May, the total number of 4S stores had reached 321.
