Recently, the rare deep inclined ramp design of deep well pump in Baihetan area successfully passed the test run.
Baihetan hydropower station project Haizigou low zone water intake system installed seven submersible pumps, all inclined ramp design, each slide 160 meters long, slope 1: 2, the maximum daily design of water intake of 100,000 m3. The design is rare in the country, the Three Gorges, Xiangjiaba, Xiluodu have no similar equipment put into operation.
The fast flowing Jinsha River, and the large amount of sand, high hardness, equipment wear rate is high, not only to the normal water supply to bring some difficulty, but also increased maintenance frequency and maintenance costs. Therefore, BaiHeTan site suit one's measures to local conditions, the use of a domestic slope inclined chute design to reduce the difficulty of taking water at the same time, can effectively avoid the loss of sediment on the equipment.
