On August 8, at the 18th International Silicon Chemistry Conference, Chengdu Silicon Bao Technology Co., Ltd. exhibited a silicone rubber automobile tire.

According to reports, Silicon Bao Technology has overcome the technical difficulties of blending silicone rubber with petroleum-based synthetic rubber and co-vulcanization, and successfully prepared a sample tire using silicone rubber as a tread.
The company said that this tire is the world's first.

Wang Youzhi, chairman of Silicon Treasure Technology, said that silicone rubber tires are significantly better than traditional tires due to their resistance to wet skid, low temperature and abrasion.

Its follow-up research work has been included in the “13th Five-Year Plan” national key R&D plan project.
